Biography

In addition to No Vacancy: Homeless Women in Paradise (2Leaf Press, 2018), Michael E. Reid has published three collections of personal essays: My Own Skin; Searching for Home; Grand Illusions (Kindle eBook, Amazon). Other works have been published in Black Lives Have Always Mattered (2Leaf Press, 2017), Life in Pacific Grove (Park Place Publications, 2017), The LLI Review (Fall 2011), CURE (Summer 2010) and in the Community Foundation for Monterey County blog. Reid received an EdD from Temple University, MDiv from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, MA from New York University, and BA from Adelphi University. He is first generation American, an Episcopal priest, married and currently residing in Monterey, California, USA.
